​​Candice Tadlock - President

​

Candice grew up in Colorado and currently leads the Pre-Access team for the Rocky Mountain Region at AdventHealth. Before this role, she oversaw the South Denver Region Pre-Access team at Centura Health. With experience in all areas of Patient Access, including ER registration, admissions, PBX, and scheduling, she has held various positions such as frontline staff, technical coordinator, supervisor, and manager. Candice earned her Master of Business Administration from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from MSU Denver. In 2021, she received a certification in Leadership Business Acumen from the University of Denver and is currently a member of the Industry Standards Committee for NAHAM. Her additional certifications include Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) from HFMA, Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA), and Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) from NAHAM. In 2024, she also became a Prosci Change Practitioner. Outside of her professional life, Candice enjoys family time and volunteering for activities involving her three children alongside her husband.

Angelica Galvan​ - Secretary/Historian

​

Angelica is originally from Texas; she has been in Colorado since 2009 and is currently an Operations Manager over the North Metro Region at Children's Hospital Colorado. Her healthcare experience is across various areas of Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, and projects implementation . She currently serves as a co-chair of a team member resource group Helping Hearts which brings awareness, education, resources and a safe space for team members seeking options for mental health. It is their mission to decrease the stigma talking about mental health and the day-to-day challenges it brings in the workforce. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, concerts, sporting events and broadening her plant collection.

Jennifer Apodaca - Treasurer

​

Jennifer is a Colorado Springs native and has worked for Common Spirit for the past 26 years.  She worked as an ER Registrar, in Admissions, Scheduling, Technical Coordinator and then promoted to Manager in 2008.  Currently, Jennifer is the Pre-Access Manager for 9 Common Spirit facilities throughout Greater Colorado and Kansas, as well as the Inpatient Notification team.  She has been a member of COHAM since its inception in 2013, and Treasurer since 2015 .  Outside of work, Jennifer is a wife of 27 years, mother of 3, grandmother of 3, and a huge Denver Broncos and Nuggets fan.

Billi Jo Sweet-Reinhardt - Board Member

​

Billi Jo has been in Northern Colorado for the past four years. She is responsible for the oversight of North Colorado Medical Center, Mckee Medical Center, and Banner Fort Collins Medical Center, as well as a satellite Emergency Department and a freestanding imaging center. With a 20-year tenure at Banner, Billi Jo initially began as a CNA and has since held various roles, including OB and ED registration, inpatient insurance verification, financial counseling, and various leadership positions.

 

Her dedication lies in working closely with patients to influence their healthcare journey positively and in cultivating a supportive work environment for employees, thereby impacting their professional journey.

 

Beyond work, Billi Jo finds enjoyment in activities such as camping, fishing, and spending quality time with her family.

Yalin Olivas

​

Yalin is currently a Director of Revenue Cycle for UnitedHealth Group/OptumInsight Provider supporting the financial aspects of 300+ Primary Care and Specialty Providers in Colorado. She has held Patient Access and Revenue Cycle Management leadership roles throughout her journey in the healthcare industry.

 

Yalin has attained her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Management with specialties in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources from Colorado State University Global. She has been an active COHAM member since its inception. She believes working in healthcare is rewarding and fulfilling because she has the opportunity to enhance patient experience from the financial standpoint.

 

Outside of work, Yalin enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends.
